Current License Requirements
- Alberta Resident: $28 annual license
- Non-resident Canadian: $75 annual license
- Non-resident Alien: $100 annual license
- Youth (under 16): Free with adult supervision
Bow River Specific Regulations
- Catch Limit: 1 trout under 35cm daily
- Release Requirement: All trout over 35cm must be released immediately
- Bait Restrictions: Artificial flies and lures only, no bait
- Barbless Hooks: Required in many sections
- Seasonal Closures: Various sections closed during spawning seasons
