Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the King Trout Outfitters website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Our Services

King Trout Outfitters provides guided fly fishing trips on the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta. All trips are subject to weather conditions, water levels, and fish activity.

Booking and Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
  • Full payment is due 7 days before your trip
  • Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • Pricing may change without notice for future bookings

Cancellation Policy

  • 14+ days before trip: Full refund minus processing fees
  • 7-14 days before trip: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days: No refund
  • Weather cancellations: Full refund or reschedule at our discretion

Fishing Licenses

Guests are responsible for obtaining valid Alberta fishing licenses before their trip. We can assist with license purchases but the legal responsibility lies with the angler.

Safety and Liability

Fishing involves inherent risks. By participating in our trips, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree to:

  • Follow all guide instructions
  • Wear provided safety equipment
  • Disclose any medical conditions that may affect your participation
  • Not consume alcohol or drugs before or during the trip

Liability Waiver

Participants may be required to sign a liability waiver before their trip. King Trout Outfitters is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage except in cases of gross negligence.

Fish Handling

All guests must practice proper catch and release techniques as instructed by guides. This includes using barbless hooks, keeping fish in the water when possible, and handling fish with wet hands.

Photography

We may take photos during trips for promotional purposes. Please inform us before the trip if you do not wish to be photographed.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of King Trout Outfitters and may not be used without permission.

Website Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or impair the website's functionality.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
